Student learning.

Now students can have access to all their learning content at school and at home. Edumate provides students with access to their lesson plans, assessment schedule and in-class homework all from one easy to use interface. As well as accessing information students are also able to upload their work using the Edumate drop box, automatically linking their attached files to the teachers electronic 'in tray' so teachers always know where work samples are kept.

Students are also able to record their feedback on assessment tasks and lessons.

Progress tracking and reporting.

Edumate provides teachers with the tools they need to record progress for their students on a daily basis. Homework, assessment tasks, class tests and in-class observations can all be recorded by teachers from school or from home. All of this information then flows seamlessly into end of term reports making reporting time simple.

The Edumate Markbook doesn't look like a typical mark book either. Teachers are provided with an easy to use screen to enter their raw marks. Common course assessment tasks are already inserted into their mark book and any in-class teacher tasks that have been set-up are also immediately available. There is no need to worry about class lists either; using the due date of a task Edumate automatically provides a class based on the enrolments as they were on the day. It’s as easy as 1-2-3 .

Need more advanced features? No problem, Edumate offers the Manage Marks to department heads and other advanced users to manipulate and report on entered marks data with ease. Adjust the standard mean and deviation, review results for all course and class tasks, generate mark and grade distribution graphs or just view a student’s ranking over a course; its easy with Edumate Manage Marks.

Edumate doesn't stop with marks either. Working alongside Markbook is an advanced criterion referenced assessment tool to track student achievement across all board of studies outcomes. Edumate also keeps a detailed history of student achievement; want to know where a student was at on a given outcome 6 months ago? No problem, change the date in the Criteria Log and view information as it was. Never loose track of where your students are, or where they have been.

Gone are the days where teachers have to look in multiple locations for information regarding a student's achievement. One easy to use interface can be used to lookup results from yesterday’s in-class test to an assessment task marked 6 years ago. Edumate also stores and records your external test data; SNAP, ELLA, basic Skills and Alwell are all there.

Academic report formats are a real strength of Edumate. Using the powerful XML template system you can build custom report formats in a work processor and upload them to Edumate. Student profiling.

Edumate Student Profiling helps you keep track of your students and helps identify potential issues before they become a problem. Edumate scans the database each night looking for potential issues in student achievement and social development data, if it finds something that needs attention Edumate automatically emails teachers, department heads or heads of school with the information.

This unique automatic alert system is coupled with Edumate's Student Tracking screen. From this simple yet powerful screen teachers are able to view a student’s entire learning and social profile. Incorporating all student achievements and marks for their entire life at the school. You can quickly see patterns of decline, increase or if a student is standing still. As well as viewing internal assessment results the student’s performance is also benchmarked against external tests such as SNAP, ELLA and Basic Skills. Coupled with this is a powerful reporting feature Edumate also allows teachers and heads of school to enter learning concerns for a student or flag them for a learning alert. Reward excellence with Student Places.

Calculating end of year prizes and HSC places just got easier. Edumate's Student Places screen can calculate a student’s place across an entire year level based on the marks from all their subjects. Places can be calculated on all student marks, or just their best 10, 12, 13 or 14 units. For the HSC, the student places screen will not only select the best 10 units for a student, but make sure to always include at least 2 units of English!

Want to find the highest academic achiever in a house, tutor group or course? No problem, Student Places has been made flexible enough so that along with making comparisons between all students in a form or year level, it will also allow you to show student places for a house, tutor group or course.
And because student places are integrated with the rest of Edumate, there is no need for any additional data entry. Just open the screen, choose your group and you're done!
