Edumate wins the prestigious 2010 Consensus Award for the most innovative software developed in Australia and New Zealand!
The Consensus Award is the top industry award recognised by the Federal Government, Austrade and the Australian Computer Society, with IBM as the major industry sponsor. This award was presented at the Consensus Gala Awards night on Tuesday 29 June by Senator The Hon. Stephen Conroy, Federal Minister for Broadband, Communications and Digital Economy.
The award is a tribute to the outstanding team of committed Edumate developers and support staff of whom we are immensely proud, and equally, an appropriate acknowledgement of all the ongoing support and encouragement, ideas, suggestions and recommendations received from members of school staff. It is by working together that Edumate has now been able to achieve formal recognition as a truly world class offering.Harjit Kapur

Edumate scores “FINALIST” position in the Australian Information Industries Association (AIIA) annual iAWARDS competition. This follows Excido’s nomination of Edumate in association with St. Luke’s Grammar School, as its entry for the Education and Training category.
“This Award is presented to the most innovative nomination for developing ICT solutions for the delivery of education and training”. The national iAwards event is held annually by the AIIA, the premier ICT Association in Australia and chief spokesman for the industry.
This is great news for us and all of you, our Edumate users. It is your active involvement in, and support of Edumate that has helped us gain this recognition in a highly contested field consisting of all the major vendors around Australia. This gives us great encouragement.
Our final presentation to the panel of AIIA judges will be on Thursday 17 May with awards being announced at the iAwards presentation night on 30 May. The Honourable Senator Helen Coonan, Minister for ICT, will also present the “Inspiration Award” for the best of the best technology in Australia in 2007.
We look forward to winning the iAward in the Education and Training category and perhaps with a bit of luck, the “Inspiration Award” as well. After all, we are an inspired bunch as you know. The iAward will qualify us to compete at the Asia Pacific IT Awards in Singapore later this year.
With all your good wishes, we know that we can win!
