Carer Selected Transport Methods for Events

Schools can now invite carers to submit transport arrangements for events that require permission. To activate this feature, choose “Edumate manages carer permissions” and check the new box.
Carers will receive items in the Event Permission Post, enabling them to nominate transport, which will be reflected in the database. The transport options for carers can be configured through Setup > Edumate Admin > Edit Lists> EVENT_TRANSPORT.

Student Medical Info Endpoints

We've recently made available new API endpoints for the Enrolments API Group (free version) and a new module report which enables schools to download, review and then upload fresh student medical information.

Clone Events

We now include Event Participants in cloning an event. Participants will be added to the cloned event based on how they were added in the original event (manually or via a linked group).

Update Window

This update will be applied to your Playschool and Production Edumate instances during the following scheduled outage windows.
Note:  Update is now commencing at 8:00pm, not 2:00am, as previously advised.

New Signin/Signout Screen

We’re redesigning the Student Sign-In/Sign-Out screen to make it modern, faster, and feature-rich. Here’s what’s planned:

01: Sign in/out multiple students for the same reason (e.g., families arriving late, TAFE, late bus).
02: Improved device scanning for quick student selection.
03: Photo previews and alerts are displayed for better visibility.
