Edumate Medical Centre

We are excited to share that Edumate Medical Centre is now operational. Tailored for school staff managing the sickbay, medication, or working in the School Clinic, the Medical Centre offers a centralised Dashboard and a dedicated hub for their daily tasks. The new Edumate Medical Centre builds on some of our existing medical features, many of which have been greatly enhanced. Additionally, it introduces numerous new features essential for today's school environment.

Coming Soon: Canvas Sync II

Our enhanced Canvas sync will send Edumate coursework tasks to Canvas so students can complete and submit them there. Teachers can mark the work in Canvas using rubrics, and both marks/grades and criteria results automatically sync back to Edumate for reporting and archiving.

We've worked with the Orbit team to bring you new features that let you configure the appearance of the Carer Orbit app homepage. The customisation options include:

01. Custom background colour
02. Control over major homepage sections
03. Daily Digest or Newsfeed choice on homepage
04. Fully configurable Homepage Tile buttons
05. School-provided icons.

We have refined the Carer Reason Submission screen to make reviewing carer absence submissions even easier each day!

Atlantis Timetabling Integration

Atlantis, a newer timetabling platform, has now completed its sync integration with Edumate. A small number of schools will be using Atlantis alongside Edumate in 2026. Founded by experienced timetabling specialists, Atlantis has been operating since 2025. To learn more, please reach out to the Atlantis team.

Product Development Corner

Schools have been looking for a way to let students share their reflections on their coursework and overall progress. This way, these reflections can be included in the formal Academic Reports each reporting period, making the reports more personal and complete.

In response, we’ve created a flexible Student Voice model with two options:

- COURSE Student Voice entries, linked to specific subjects or classes

- SUMMATION Student Voice entries, providing an overall reflection
